Facts about her majesty!

1. The Queen wears neon for a reason - you have to be able to see her from far away when she is at public events!

2. She drinks a glass of Champagne every day (supposedly!). It has been reported she has a glass of champagne every night before bed.

3. She backs over 600 charities and orgnaisations across the globe!

4. She has 2 birthdays! Although her birthday is 21st April, it actually celebrated in June and is known as Trooping the Colour, famously featuring the royal family taking part in a procession through London.  

5. She loves Corgi's and has owned over 30 (!) during her reign. Her first ever Corgi was called Susan.

6. The Queen technically owns all the swans in the UK! According to laws set centuries ago, the reigning monarch has the right to claim ownership over all unmarked swans swimming in open waters.

7. The Queen hosted Buckingham Palace's first ever women-only event in 2004, "Women of Achievment"

8. The Queen is a football fan and supports north london club, Arsenal!

9. She is the only person in the UK allowed to drive without a license!
