In Autumn 2009, we have taken our legendary vintage vision to Brighton and opened a 3500 sq ft store in the fashion heart of the city. The Beyond Retro treasure trove opened its doors onto one of Brighton's most celebrated and bohemian shopping districts.

Stitching together ideas about art and identity, through their colourful, crammed aisles of style, the Brighton store collection will not disappoint our ever-growing army of D.I.Y. style devotees. Open seven days a week, apparel addicts outside of London, can now embrace the energy of bygone eras until late into the evening, fuelling the entertainment ethos of our concept stores.

London - East End

Our original 5,000 sq ft warehouse store opened in 2000 in a converted dairy depot on a side street off Brick Lane. Its reputation quickly grew, and it soon became a destination store for style conscious locals. As one of the first vintage clothes shops in the East End, Beyond Retro contributed to the transformation of the Brick Lane/Shoreditch area into one of the world's most innovative and stylish neighbourhoods.

With 15,000 items on the shop floor at any one time, and with 500 more pieces added daily, Beyond Retro's Cheshire Street branch is still London's largest and most diverse vintage clothing store; and an East End institution!

In October 2006 we brought our large-scale vintage store concept to the West End, and opened a shop in the heart of Soho. Beyond Retro Soho is a lush 70s-meets-Victoriana boutique: a heady blend of chandeliers, taxidermy and Hugh Hefner chic which brings an element of East End-cool to one of the world's busiest shopping districts.
