Our Vintage Products - Vintage Clothing Treasure Hunt
We have antique and vintage clothing ranging from the gothic looks of the late Victorian period, through exquisite beaded 1920s flapper dresses, sumptuous 30s evening gowns, strong-shouldered 40s tailoring and 50s prom dresses and suits. For guys and girls with an eye for style we have beautiful rayon Hawaiian and bowling shirts, satin embroidered Rodeo shirts, 60s shifts and retro 70s jumpsuits and printed ties. For those who prefer something sportier we're crammed with 70s and 80s t-shirts, towelling playsuits and a smattering of early 90s body-con and slogan Ts. The store is an overflowing fashion library, housing an array of one-off vintage pieces suited to your every conceivable aesthetic whim.

Here at Beyond Retro we want you to get the most out of your vintage clothes, so we recommend you follow our basic steps to caring for your special garments, so they can be worn for generations more! We will tell you how to store, wash and maintain your priceless vintage clothes.

Beyond Retro has a high press profile, and our stores are the first port of call for many stylists working in all areas of the media. As a result, our clothes have been worn by tastemakers such as Dita Von Teese, Daisy Lowe, Kate Nash, Alexa Chung, Henry Holland and Agyness Deyn; and have been featured in British, American, Japanese and Italian Vogue, i-D, Dazed and Confused, Glamour, Elle and Attitude as well as The Guardian, The Times, The New York Times and The Independent.

Beyond Retro Events
At Beyond Retro we love to throw a party, and often team up with other like-minded people to organise fabulous events. We collaborated with Whitechapel-based womenswear label Aganovich on a London Fashion Week party extravaganza, and regularly donate clothes to outrageous East London club night Swaparama. We have long kept The Lip Sinkers (drag queen troupe extraordinaire) in stunning outfits, and provide costumes for their sell-out Christmas pantomimes at Bistrotheque. In-store events include our legendary Summer Parties, and our Frock Nights for which we put thousands of new dresses out onto the shop floors and invite our customers along for a sneak preview of our latest pieces.

Beyond Retro is pleased to introduce The Vintage Textile and Print Archive, your first port of call for the best of premium vintage design inspiration!
At Beyond Retro, we understand the importance of preserving our finest vintage garments and textile designs as a record of fashion and social history, and have been diligently archiving a selection of rare and valuable pieces to offer for sale as design inspiration. The Textile and Print Archive at Beyond Retro is comprised of hand selected premium vintage garments dating from the Victorian era through to the turn of this millennium, as well as a comprehensive library of nearly seven thousand curated vintage print swatches.
Tradeshows
Sales representatives are available for bespoke appointments in the UK, the USA, Australia and Japan, and we also exhibit our finest pieces and new swatch collection seasonally at leading trade fairs Direction, NYC and Indigo, Paris.

Thanks so much for your interest in Beyond Retro! We are currently working towards online sales, which will enable our customers to buy items from us over the internet. In the meantime we'd love to see you in our stores - we have several shops in both London and Stockholm, so please do come and visit us!
All the clothes we stock are vintage and one of a kind, which means that when one of our pieces is featured in a magazine or on television we very rarely have the exact same garment in stock. We do, however, carry a huge selection of similar (and better!) items, and would encourage you to come down to one of our stores for a browse. Certain items, such as our tulle underskirts and our retro swim hats are always available in a full range of colours in all our stores.
