The Position:
For this remote based position, we are looking for an energetic, keen, and well-organized Senior Accountant to
support the financial operations and month end activities of our global business. Reporting to the Accounting
Manager, the Senior Accountant will support two businesses under the Bank & Vogue umbrella of companies. This
is a fantastic opportunity for an individual that has 5+ years of previous experience in a management position
within a finance team. They will manage the end-to-end finance functions and support the growth of the team as
the business expands.
Responsibilities:
● Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and management
● Posting monthly accruals & prepayments journals
● Maintenance of Fixed Assets Register
● Intercompany reconciliations
● Processing invoices and ensuring suppliers are paid on time
● Processing employee expenses and company credit cards expenses
● Supplier statement reconciliations
● Preparing weekly/monthly payment runs
● Managing petty cash
● Revenue accounting
● Clearing Accounts Reconciliations
● Weekly/Monthly business cash flow forecasting
● Preparation of monthly and quarterly VAT returns
● Ensure compliance with internal controls
● Timesheet analysis and management
● Payroll Management
● Other ad-hoc tasks as required for the business
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
● ACCA or ACA qualified
● Have hands-on experience of working in a multi-site business
● Have hands-on experience of UK Payroll
● Able to deliver without direct supervision
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Advanced user of MS Excel /Gsheet
● Knowledge of NetSuite Advantage
● Experience of successful delivery by leading and developing a Finance team
● Excellent written skills, administrative, organisational and project management skills
● Ability to effectively self-manage workload and meet set deadlines.
● Preferred (but not required) experience of financial modelling and costing in retail
