Hot on the heels of its record breaking retrospective, David Bowie Is… the V&A (http://www.vam.ac.uk/) is launching its new fashion exhibition for summer 2013, Club to Catwalk: London Fashion in the 1980s. We couldn’t be more excited for a full on celebration of one of our favourite decades! We have hidden 1,500 V&A swing tickets in clothing across our London stores, these swing tickets invite customers to photograph themselves and upload their 80s inspired photos to Instagram using the hashtag #ClubToCatwalk for a chance to win tickets to the exhibition.  Each day the entrant with the best 80s inspired photo will win two free tickets! In addition to this, 100 “golden tickets” will be given out with random purchases on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July across our Soho, Cheshire Street and Dalston stores. These tickets are limited so be sure to get in quick! Club to Catwalk will explore the creative explosion of London fashion in the 1980s. It will look at how the impact of underground club culture was felt far beyond the club doors, reinventing fashion worldwide. Over 85 outfits by designers such as John Galliano, Vivienne Westwood and Katherine Hamnett will be on display together with accessories by designers including Patrick Cox.
