'This gold plunge dress is a perfect party piece that has a vintage but sexy edge! I love the metallic gold print and ruching around the stomach. The dress is black velvet at the bottom and a definite head-turner! I wore it with my black fur stole and dark green turban'

'I went for a black and gold sequin top with amazing leaf and sheer detailing and mixed it with a gold sparkly skirt, both of course Beyond Retro! I love a vintage turban, so felt this complimented the look perfectly and don't forget the jingle bells sunnies which added to the festive cheese!'
For plenty more pics and an endless stream of vintage inspiration, check out the blog and full edit from Two Shoes, One Pair! How will you be toasting in the New Year? With friends! One of my friends is having a little house party which I think is always the best way to celebrate rather than going out. Champagne, good music and the best company there's no better way to bring in the new year!- Sequin overload - It's one of the last chances to wear sequins for the year, look like a human glitter ball and get away with it so run with it!
- Texture - Mix texture and embellishment to create head turning ensembles. Velvet, leather, silk and fluff wear them all together and be brave in your dressing
- Party proof- Make sure you don't wear something your going to spill beer down and ruin, like a silk dress. Relax and opt for items you can dance and have fun in. No one wants to be cleaning instead of dancing the night away!
