Notting Hill Carnival

Party, party, party!  For the Londoners who have been living under a rock for the past 40 years, you may not know that Europe’s biggest street party is happening this weekend.  The WC1 district hosts the iconic Notting Hill Carnival for two days of wild music and dancing, celebrating Caribbean culture in London’s royal borough of Kensington & Chelsea!  Each year the streets come alive with twenty miles of one million party revellers looking for the renowned vibrancy found in the sounds, sights and smells of this great festival.  And, luckily, the weather is set to be a scorcher!  With sunny temperatures that put this week’s grotty climate to shame, revel in the rhythm and get glitzed up for this massive party.  Check out Beyond Retro’s crop of carnival gear at Brick Lane, Soho and online; whistles at the ready!
