When it comes to a big reveal, no one does it better than Vogue. To mark their 100th anniversary, the British edition of the iconic fashion bible have outdone themselves by unveiling Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge as their newest cover star!
Like the rest of you, we first saw these photos while absent-mindedly scrolling through Instagram on Friday night. It wasnt until we looked a little closer that we realised that she was wearing one of our hats on the cover AND inside! I repeat KATE MIDDLETON IS WEARING ONE OF OUR HATS ON THE 100th ANNIVERSARY COVER OF VOGUE MAGAZINE! The images have also been added to the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition at the National portrait gallery.
At Beyond Retro, weve always loved how HRH champions British brands. With designers all around the world falling over themselves to dress her, were absolutely over the moon that she chose our Green Wool Fedora for her cover look, and doesnt she look beautiful?!
Over the years the Duchess has become one of the most influential players in the fashion world by mixing designers with high street and smaller brands. We really respect the way that Kate isnt afraid to be seen in the same garment twice - a rare quality in the world of celebrity fashion.
These hats are now available for pre-order online, and are part of our vintage inspired range of new products. The fact that the hats originally sold out almost instantly is a testament to how influential Kate Middleton has become.

Inside the pages of the magazine Kate can be seen sitting casually in a plaid shirt. To give this look a modern edge why not try one of our Beyond Retro LABEL cropped flannel shirts?
On the next pages, The Duchess is seen playing with her dog Lupo while wearing a pair of retro inspired dungarees - we've got a fab selection of these in-store and online!
Or why not go all out in a 70's jumpsuit?!
