Hallowe'en Dress-Up Guide: Dead Bride

Posted on October 26 2011

Heartbreak is a killer.  Our dead bride at Beyond Retro knows this first-hand after being left stricken at the altar... and now she's out for revenge.  But only in the most stylish of ways, looking drop dead gorgeous!  Ahem... okay, enough with the puns.  We can barely contain our excitement as Hallowe'en gets ever closer and we pick out the most spooktacular of costumes.  Okay, seriously, we'll stop now.  Onto to the costume du jour, Dead Bride.  An ever-growingly popular Hallowe'en costume for Beyond Retro, offering beautiful lace gowns (and the odd meringue, of course) at even more beautiful prices.  You can splatter them with blood without wasting a fortune (normally we try to discourage soiling vintage, but as it's Hallowe'en, we'll make some exceptions...).  Complete the ensemble with accessories like a black bouquet, victorian lace up boots and the obligatory tears of woe.  We strongly advise Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, not only as a source of inspiration, but because it's pretty rad.
