Beyond Retro Sponsors The Great Drag Race

We are very proud to announce that Beyond Retro will be sponsoring The Great Drag Race this year, which is set to take place on June 30th at Highbury Fields. Run in aid of charity Prostate Action, the race will see hundreds of men don frocks and fishnets to run the most fabulous 10.2km of their lives! Created to raise money for prostate cancer research, and billed as a good-natured response to the female-only fundraising events like the Moonwalk and Race for Life, the race is now in its third year and has won on-air support from broadcasters including Terry Wogan and the BBC's Eddie Nestor. We'll be kicking off a range of events and in-store promotions to mark our support for the event, including a Drag Lock-In on May 30th so prospective runners have access to hundreds of glamorous vintage outfits in which to compete. We'll also be setting up "Drag Rails" in our London stores to encourage men to sign-up and drag up! The race is open to all runners of all abilities for just a £10 entry fee, and there's no minimum sponsorship needed - the only entry requirement is to look fabulous!
