Beyond Retro Loves a Victorian Christmas!

Posted on December 06 2010

Deep in East London, the Ghost of Christmas Past is alive and looking rather enthralling! I bet there will be no shrivelled Scrooge's when you venture into this Dickensian world of festive surprises! The wonderful people at Wilton's are transforming London’s oldest and finest music hall into a  Victorian wonderland for Christmas! Join us there for a glass of merry mulled wine and a handful of roasted chestnuts whilst we wallow in the Yuletide spirit at the festive music and variety acts. As the night reaches its peak and we awaken the ghosts of Christmas’ past, dramatic interludes from Dickens and Mayhew, wandering minstrels, and a music hall sing-a-long, (known as the City’s ‘hidden stage’), promise to make this a night to remember! In true Victorian spirit, a feast will be served from 6pm for everyone to enjoy (buffet-style!)- Whilst we’ll be getting creative at the bar throughout the night, where arts and crafts activities (plus competitions!) will be in full flow! Don’t miss out on the jazz band, they’ll be drawing the night to a close in style. For your diary...
