Vintage Quality Controller - Full Time Position
Vintage and fashion enthusiast required for an intermediate level role working to continually improve Beyond Retro’s product offering.
The Role will involve working closely with both our pricing and product selection teams.
The successful candidate will be fully trained in all aspects of identifying and pricing vintage garments and accessories to enable them to monitor and improve the quality of our product.
This is a hands-on role, but will also require strong numeracy and IT skills, excellent organisation, some data analysis and a keen eye for detail.
You will also be required to have sound writing, research and communication skills, and be able to travel internationally throughout the year.
Tasks and Responsibilities include:
• Grading vintage product.
• Producing product and trend reports.
• Trend forecasting.
• Analysing sales data
• Analysing store returns.
• Conducting monthly in-store quality control checks and reporting feedback from managers to the product department.

Assistant Warehouse and Operations Manager
Beyond Retro, Europe’s largest Vintage Clothing retailer is now
looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join the
business. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful individual
will assist in leading a friendly team of ten in our central London
warehouse to maintain the smooth and timely fulfilment of all warehouse
operations.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise the loading and unloading of containers.
• Supervise the distribution of product into storage.
• Maintaining accurate shipping logs and keeping stock control systems up to date.
• Rotating boxes in warehouse
• Overseeing the maintenance of warehouse equipment.
• Ensuring warehouse is kept clean and well organised.
• Liaising with suppliers and transport companies.
• Planning future capacity requirements..
• Ensuring compliance with and maintenance of health and safety regulations, hygiene and security in the work environment.
• Briefing and motivating the warehouse team on a daily basis and ensuring set productivity targets are met.
• Training employees
• Processing stock which involves scanning, hanging, sorting, tagging and boxing product
• Supervise the general daily running of the warehouse.
• Provides holiday / sickness cover for the Operations Manager when required.
• Fulfilling other company objectives and directions as required by the Operations Manager or Managing Director.
Desired Skills & Experience:
• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a warehouse or backstock
• An eye for detail
• Previous Inventory Control experience
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Some practical skills such as knowing your way around a tool box will be an advantage.
• Be able to operate a pallet jack.
• This is a hands on role and sometimes involves standing for long periods of time, lifting, bending and carrying.

Product Development Coordinator – Full Time
This is an exciting and challenging position suited to someone who is
keen to become involved in the expansion of the Beyond Retro brand
through manufacturing and the continued development of our vintage
product.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Minimum 2 years fashion manufacturing experience and an understanding of production planning.
• A back ground in fashion textiles.
• Excellent organizational skills and be highly motivated
• Strong problem solving abilities
• Experience in supervising a small team
• A firm grasp of catwalk and high street trends and ability to translate into commercial ideas for our customer.
• Good knowledge of garment construction across multi-product - men's, women's, and accessories.
• CAD skills , Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Have intermediate excel skills
• Proven experience in critical path management
• A passion for vintage clothing
Key goal: Create and manage a line of product that fulfils an on-trend
product demand that we are unable to find in our vintage supply. This
will be met by reworking our existing supply to make new designs.
The successful candidate will:
• Conduct independent design research.
• Create initial designs.
• Create tech packs and specs from scratch - communicating design ideas and managing all aspects of sampling stage
• See design ideas through to production, managing each sample stage - approving trims, fabrics and fits.
• Ensure the setup and implementation of quality control standards.
• Liaise with head office to ensure smooth and timely delivery of product from overseas supplier to stores.
• Liaise with stores managers and VM team to ensure product is displayed to maximise sales.
• Head small short run external manufacturing projects.
• Produce and present a monthly summary of goals and new ideas.
• Be responsible for project deadlines and production.
• Assist with research for trend and product reports.
• Be able to travel internationally throughout the year.

Warehouse Assistant - Full Time
Beyond Retro is recruiting for a full time Warehouse Assistant to join the small dedicated team maintaining the continuous supply of product to the store.
Duties will include:
• Hanging, sorting, labelling and security tagging product
• Boxing and labelling and preparing deliveries
• Moving boxes within the warehouse to enable proper rotation of stock
• Receiving and counting stock items and recording data manually or using scanners
• Packing and unpacking items for stores/stockrooms and the warehouse
• Assisting with product deliveries including container deliveries.
• Assisting in handling store returns
• Cleaning the warehouse
• Manual work including lifting boxes, carrying and climbing ladders
• Other duties as requested by the Operations Manager or Warehouse Supervisor for the smooth running of the warehouse and production
Experience in working in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.

The Beyond Retro Archive is a renowned resource for designers and industry insiders. We sell on an international level to high street companies, luxury brands and independent designers. The current archive holds in excess of 8,000 fabric print swatches and garments on site and we are continuously expanding!
We need help preparing headed fabric swatches for our showroom, cataloguing swatches, researching trends and relevant brands, selecting styles for Archive appointments. Archive interns may also assist the Product Department with image research and product updates.
Knowledge of current trends and vintage fashion is favourable.

International Sales Representatives required for London based design archive.
The Beyond Retro Archive is a fashion design resource based in London. We sell vintage print swatches and garments to an international client base ranging from luxury and contemporary designers, high street brands, interior and product design. We house an expanding collection of over 6,000 swatches and garments and our researchers can view a collection of over 10,000 items weekly. The Archive has been well received at key trade shows such as Premier Vision in Paris and Indigo in New York. We work closely with leading trend forecasting companies such as WGSN and Stylesight.
We are expanding our team of international sales representatives. We require new members in various locations to develop our successful global presence as suppliers of vintage print inspiration.
The candidate will be abreast of current fashion trends, possess a passion for print and an understanding of how vintage design feeds a wide spectrum of creative development in today's industry.
The candidate will have their own active client base and Beyond Retro will provide information regarding existing clients in their location. We will provide packages of ready prepared fabric swatches and offer trend direction.
Preferred locations are America (East and West Coast), Paris, Amsterdam, Korea, Japan and Australia.
