Warehouse and Production Manager

Beyond Retro is looking for a Production Manager/Warehouse Manager to manage the production and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of vintage clothing and accessories for our UK Beyond Retro Stores. You’ll be working in a central London under the same roof as our Buying team, Creative team, Press and eCom Studio.

Using specially developed software a team of expert pricers value every vintage item for our large scale stores according to trend, decade, size, style and source. They form part of a larger team who process a shipping container of product a week.

We are looking for a skilled people person to manage the team responsible for this unique target driven process and our storage warehouse in central London.

Meeting weekly production targets with accuracy, streamlining warehouse processes, and managing the loading bay, requires an organised, forward thinking person who knows how to get results and at the same time fosters a positive, inclusive work environment.

The Role:

  • Ensure weekly and daily production targets are set, posted and accomplished.
  • Ensure there are no stock shortages to stores.
  • Liaise with logistics and allocation teams to ensure there are no inventory shortages at the warehouse.
  • Continually strive to reduce production costs and increase efficiencies.
  • Review Inventory on a continual basis to ensure accuracy and appropriate stock levels.
  • Manage inventory counts.
  • Be compliant with all health and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor individual performance and coach to increase output and quality of work.
  • Develop team members, review performance and identify training needs.

Your Team:

You will be managing a knowledgeable team of pricing and production staff ensuring that weekly production targets are met. You will work closely with the Sales and Operations Manager, Logistics & Allocation team to ensure our large scale stores are stocked with appropriate amounts of vintage and own brand product. You will have excellent communication and develop strong working relationships with the Buying team providing feedback on quality and quantities of stock.
