Ecommerce Business Manager

Beyond Retro is seeking an eCommerce Business Manager with creative flair, a passion for vintage and high street fashion and exceptional online business acumen. This is an excellent opportunity for a self starter entrepreneur to take on the challenge of growing the Beyond Retro eCom team and the overall online business. Not only must you be trend aware and understand Vintage Fashion you must also be able to operate at a high level of business skill with a thorough understanding of eCommerce retailing.

Based in N1, London, the eCommerce Business Manager will be responsible for:

  • Establishing sales targets with Finance and Merchandising teams to grow the business
  • Building a strategic ecommerce plan in conjunction with key stakeholders to execute sales plan
  • Accountable to achieve sales targets
  • Accountable to drive key metrics such as traffic and conversion
  • Management of online merchandising
  • Design and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including newsletters, landing pages (home page, womens, mens, etc) and category page content
  • Support brick and mortar shops and their marketing campaigns, with the mindset that shared campaigns drive traffic to both channels
  • Manage the design and execution of community building (social)
  • Management of digital content team, both copy and artwork for marketing, seo and general site material
  • Management of the customer service experience and delivery
  • Ownership of the “out-of-box” customer experience
  • Management of the SEO strategy
  • Developing and management of online fraud prevention strategies
  • Execution of the above should reflect the aspirational qualities of our fashion brand and product


To apply you must be able to demonstrate that you have the following skills:

  • Innate understanding of the Beyond Retro’s product line
  • Strong commercial experience with an emphasis on customer service and achieving online sales and other performance metrics
  • Great leadership and team management skills
  • Superb communications skills
  • Knowledge of Web-based content through a CMS platform
  • The ability to strategise and manage on and off site content for SEO and SEM
  • Experience of using Web analytics to drive business forward
  • Excellent knowledge of web accessibility guidelines
  • Ability to design, develop and manage web projects

Fashion retail experience with an emphasis on customer service and achieving onlines sales and other performance metrics an asset.
