Creative Content & Visuals Coordinator

Beyond Retro is seeking a Creative Content & Visuals Coordinator. This is a hands on role and you will be responsible for creating and inspiring original visual content from conception through to execution which captures the unique spirit of the brand but still maintains a commercial edge across both online and in-store. You will work alongside the Graphic Designer, Social Media Coordinator and Head of Press and Marketing and in partnership with the store teams, reporting to the Head of Ecommerce & The Area Manager.

The Role

  • Coordinating & creating the visual content for the brand's campaigns, Including content to be used in: all marketing materials, emails and promotions

  • Create and brief the VM themes & trends for all stores and web to guide the business through current trends while staying true to the Beyond Retro Brand

  • Ensure effective visual content that will drive Conversion, CTR and store footfall.

  • Ensure Beyond Retro has a consistent Look and Feel across stores, web and all other channels.

Digital:

  • Creating content across the site including model and flat imagery from conception to execution. This includes: creating concepts for web design, coordinating photo-shoots: from sourcing models and locations to selecting clothing and arranging hair & make-up, organising freelance collaborators and styling.

  • Strike a balance between commercial and inspiring brand-led imagery.

  • Provide ongoing feedback ensuring production image quality is in accordance with brand standards.

  • Working closely with the Graphic Designer to develop a consistent look across stores and online, and create commercial online assets.

  • Creating seasonal Creative Packs with contribution from rest of digital creative team.

  • Providing visual content for Digital and Social Advertising Campaigns.

  • Analysis of product sales and recommendations for across business

  • Competitor analysis of website and emails

In Stores:

  • Drive the creative in-store VM direction, to create the right atmosphere and an aspirational feeling in-store. Allowing the VM team and Area Manager take these elements and create commercial product displays

  • Effectively allocate budget for props and store displays

  • Guide VM team in realising themes for instore

  • Assist in Theme Change Overs in store

  • Ensure stores have correct allocation of Merch materials including dragon rails/ displays cases/ table top merch requirements etc

  • Perform monthly check of stores visual standards including external building standards. Eg: Signage/windows/entrances etc

  • Provide ongoing training & feedback to Visual Merchandisers

  • Ensure the completion and maintenance of the training guide for store staff

Other:

  • Design displays and merchandising set ups for trade fairs

  • Provide content for materials for trade fairs

  • Create & Maintain visual Identity Document as expansion of the “Brand Guide Lines”

The Ideal Candidate

  • Be a Team Player

  • A natural creative with good commercial eye

  • Superb communication skills

  • Experience in styling for shoots

  • Experience in a fashion based role

  • An excellent understanding of the brand’s customers &  aesthetics

  • Photography Skills
